Working efficiency improved during insulation resistance measurements in dimly lit area

Situation

[Japan]
Insulation faults occurred frequently throughout a Japanese traditional inn (ryokan). Since the lighting distribution boards were located in dimly lit areas, it made measurements and inspection work difficult.

Solutions

We introduced the Analog insulation resistance tester KEW 3441 featuring an auto-lighting scale LED for use in dimly lit areas, as well as an LED light to illuminate the target object.

Note: This is a case study in Japan and the introduced products are for Japan only. Products with similar functionality sold in countries other than Japan are listed in the "Introduced products".

Customer Reviews

Useful working at dimly lit areas due to the integrated LEDs.
It comes with good optical feature - measured values are easy to see, while audible feature gives different sound patterns, such as a short beep ("pi") and a longer beep ("pi, piii"), indicate whether the measured result is acceptable or not. As a result, we don't need to constantly look at the instrument and can instead focus on the distribution board while working.
