Situation

During periodic inspections of manufacturing equipment, we measured current values; however, the measurements were not performed continuously. As a result, we were unable to capture the characteristics of the current, which limited our ability to make effective use of the measurement data.
In addition, because the current involved was small AC current, we assumed that high-accuracy measurement would not be possible and had given up on obtaining reliable data.
Solutions
We introduced the Leakage & Load Current Clamp Sensor KEW 8146, which has a small jaw size and can be used with the Ior Logger KEW 5050 for long-term continuous data recording.
