New Product Warranty Policy

Dear customers

We are pleased to announce that we start our new Product Warranty Policy on 1st of April 2024 to make it more simple, clear and user-oriented.
Please see the details of the new Product Warranty Policy, as follows.

1. Warranty Period

  • For product: Three (3) years from the date of purchase by the user.
  • For the accuracy of product: One (1) year from the date of purchase by the user.

2. Warranty Terms

In case any defects on products are discovered during the warranty period, Kyoritsu will repair (adjust) it free of charge, or replace such defective products. However, the following items and cases are excluded from the Product Warranty Policy.

3. Exclusions and Limitations

  1. Defects, which are caused by inappropriate handling or usage not in accordance with the instruction manual.
  2. Defects, which are caused by an abnormal pressure and shock by rough handling and/or drop during transportation after purchasing.
  3. Defects, which are caused by the modification or repair that are carried out by the parties who are not Kyoritsu service personnel.
  4. Defects, which are caused by fire, earthquake, flood, pollution or any other act of God.
  5. Any changes in external view.
  6. Any other defects that are not considered as Kyoritsu’s responsibility.
  7. Consumables such as batteries, test leads and fuses etc.
  8. In case Warranty Certificate is not presented.
  9. In case the proof of the date of purchase is not presented.
  10. The products, which are purchased from unauthorized distributors (through unofficial sales channel).

4. Remark

  • The new Product Warranty applies to the products that were purchased by users after 1st of April 2023.
  • In the event of a defect on product, please contact a Kyoritsu authorized distributor to obtain warranty service.
