Answer
1. Unable to measure.
("nc" is displayed.)
  For Leak logger
Check if a clamp sensor is connected to the leak logger properly.
Insert the sensor into the connector terminal firmly.

KEW 5010 doesn't recognize the voltage Sensor
2. Unable to measure.
("Err" is displayed.)
  For Leak logger
Sensor other than Voltage Sensor may be connected to CH1 under the setting for Power Quality Analysis mode for KEW 5020.
Only the Voltage Sensor can be used under Power Quality Analysis mode.
3. Inaccurate readings
  For Leak logger
Check if a clamp sensor is connected properly.
Insert the sensor into the connector terminal firmly.
Check if the jaws are closed properly.
If no, close the jaws properly.
Check if an object stick to the jaw tips.
If yes, remove the oject from the jaw tips.
Check if the Scale function is in operation.
When the "SCAL" symbol is displayed in the LCD, the measured value x(times) the scale value will be displayed.
Turn off the scale function.
(MODEL 5000/5001 Only)
4. Nothing is displayed in the LCD.
  Display
Check the battery voltage.
If the voltage is low, replace the batteries.
5. Battery symbol is blinked in the LCD.

6. The readings fluctuate.
  Display
7. When the leak logger is connected to the PC using the USB cable, the leak logger connected is not detected in the logger list.
  For USB
Check if the USB cable is connected correctly.
If no, connect the USB cable correctly.
Check if the USB driver is installed.
If no, install the USB driver correctly.
Check if the USB driver is failed to be installed on the PC.
If the installation is failed, firstly delete the USB driver installed and re-install it.
Refer to the "M5000_QA001E.pdf" for details.
8. When other USB device is connected, the PC goes to install the KEW LOGGER driver. How to delete entirely the KEW LOGGER USB driver?
  For USB
Use the "Add/Remove Programs" tool in Control Panel to delete "FTDI FTD2XX USB Drivers".
Furthermore, delete the device driver information file which is copied in the INF folder under Windows System folder.
Refer to the "M5000_QA002E.pdf" for details.
9. When trying to transmit the data, the following message appears.
"Remove and insert the USB cable once."
  For USB
Sometimes the static electricity may cause an error to the USB connection.
Follow the message and transmit the data again.
10. When installing the USB driver with the hardware WindowsXP,
the following remark appears.
"The software you are installing for this hardware:
KEW LEAK LOGGER 5000/5001 has not passed Windows Logo testing to verify its compatibility with Windows XP."
  For USB
Click "Continue Anyway" to continue the installation.
As operation check was done, no problem shall happen.
